Structure

Each mech weighs between 20 and 100 tons.

Mechs parts have critical slots according to mech weight. In addition, mech has bonus slots for structural integrity. These can be removed, but mech becomes exceedingly more brittle.

Divide mech's weight by 20. This is mech's weight class.

Mech gains 1 empty critical slot in each location times it's weight class. Double for torso and belly.

Mech gains bonus slots for each 5 tons it has over it's weight class&20. These slots can be placed anywhere in the mech, though only one can be in the head.

Mech gains free structural slots in each location equal to empty slots gained in said location.

In addition each mech gains a bonus slot for each limb's joints plus cockpit, sensors and life support in the head.

Engine

Mech gains speed equal to it's number of engine slots/(2xWC).

Gyro

Mech needs 2xWC number of gyro. Missing any increases cost of all piloting rolls.

Having double gains a bonus die each time piloting is rolled. Triple 2 bonus dice etc.
