Kuvaus:
- Irroitettavia osia: Pystyy halutessaan näyttämään joko sotadroidilta (pellit päällä, aseistus kiinnitettynä), huoltodroidilta (sisäänrakennetuilla pelleillä, piilotetuilla tai olemattomilla aseilla) tai todella raskaasti cyberoidulta ihmiseltä.
- Ottaa sen, että ihmiset olettaa droidiksi kohteliaisuutena, käyttäytyy stereotyyppisen 'droidimaisesti' alleviivaten sitä ja hehkuttaa pienimmästäkin tekosyystä uusimpia cyberiosia ja kuinka on niin väärin ettei armeija maksa niitä.
- Ilmestyy 'korjaamaan jotain' mitä ihmeellisimpiin paikkoihin ja aikoihin. Droid
- Droids do not need to eat, sleep, or breathe, and are unaffected by toxins and poisons.
- Droids have a cybernetic implant cap of 6 instead of their Brawn rating. In addition, after selecting a career, a droid Player Character may train one rank each in six of the eight career skills (instead of the
usual four). After selecting a specialization, a droid PC may train one rank each in three of the four specialization skills (instead of the usual two).
- Inorganic: Since droids are inorganic, they do not gain the benefits of recovering with a bacta tank, a stimpack, or Medicine skill checks. Droids do recover naturally by resting, as their systems attempt self-repairs. If self-repair is not adequately effective, a droid needs to be tended to with a Mechanics check, using the same difficulties and results as Medicine checks for organic beings. Emergency repair patches can be used to repair damage, just like stimpacks can be used on organic beings. See page 232 for more on droid repairs and healing. Due to their resilient metallic construction, droids start the game with one rank in the Enduring talent.
- Mechanical Being: Droids cannot become Forcesensitive nor acquire a Force rating by any means. Droids cannot use Force powers and also cannot be affected by mind-altering Force powers.

Defensive slicing:
When an opponent slices a computer owned or modified by the character or when an opponent acts against the character in a computer system (even in a computer system owned by the opponent), the character adds setback dice equal to his rank in Defensive Slicing to his opponent's checks.
Improved defensive slicing:
Defensive Slicing now upgrades opponents' difficulty once per rank of Defensive Slicing instead of adding setback dice. The character can also contest (force an opposed check between the actor and himself) any action in a system he is present in (e.g. by service patch remote) by reflexively spending his next maneuver and suffering a point of strain. (requires access)
Codebreaker:
The character may negate one failure or threat for each of his ranks in Codebreaker when checking if he was caught attempting a slicing check.

Hacking:
Hacking on the fly: Fast, one small effect each roll. New roll for each new effect.
'Normal' hacking (probe for vulnerabilities?): Slow, roll for access, after success, no more rolls needed by default.
Suppressive Fire:
Repeaters and similar weapons intended for sustained autofire allow their wielder to take the suppressing fire action. A character taking the suppressing fire action chooses an area and rolls for attack normally as if attacking normally using autofire with all normal penalties and bonuses.
When the targets take their next action or a character moves into the area, they can either take the attack normally (the attacker cannot trigger autofire, but otherwise the attack is resolved normally) or negate all suppressive fire attacks until their next turn by spending a maneuver and upgrading all difficulties by a number equal to the highest successes rolled by the suppressive fires they are under. The maneuver also forces them to remain in cover relative to the suppressors or remain prone.
