Historia
Lapsuus alkoi ja sujui jotenkin. Mustakääpiöyhteisössä, hmm. Pitää kai speksata itse klaani, ja sen jälkeen miettiä. Todnäk yhteisö oli ainakin melko uskonnollinen (ts ei höpötystä jumaliin uskomattomuudesta).
Klaani-aika meni perinteiseen tapaan. Gerður oli kunnon kääpiö, ja päätyi hyväksi sepäksi. Hieman epäilyttävä se kuitenkin oli, sillä vanhemmiten opiskeli myös alkemiaa ja sitä kautta lueskeli myös kirjoja magiasta. Gerður oppi myös uskolliseksi Ladugueristiksi.
Mikäli Gerður myöhemmin petettiin, tässä vaiheessa hän ystävystyi pettäjän kanssa.
Klaanista poistuminen oli äkillinen ja murskaavan nopea kokemus. Gerður joko
- häädettiin klaanista (koska hänet petettiin ja lavastettiin syyttömänä syylliseksi), tai
- saapui klaaninsa raunioille, ja vannoi kostoa
Yksi mahdollinen tarina on se, että Gerðurin (vanhempi) veli tappoi koko klaanin, ja jätti vain Gerðurin henkiin.. jotta tämä voisi "kehityttyään riittävästi haastaa veljensä".
Ihmisten mailla Gerður asusteli Rautarinteen kaupungissa FIX vuotta. Tänne Gerður oikeastaan vaan päätyi, harhaili, koska ei tiennyt mitä muutakaan tehdä. Mietti, pohti, kasaili ajatuksiaan ja suunnitelmiaan. Samalla hän teki sitä mitä parhaiten osasi: rakenteli, korjaili, loi.
Rautarinteessä Gerður oppi paljon ihmisistä ja muistakin kansoista. Heidän lyöntinsä tekevät kipeää, potkunsa sattuvat, joten kannattaa pysyä niistä erossa. Silloin kun niiden kanssa on pakko tehdä kauppaa, pidetään oma naama piilossa.
Gerður pisti pienen pajan pystyyn kaupungin surkeahkoon osaan, ja myi palveluksiaan kauppiaan kautta, joka vei välistä ainakin puolet Gerðurin voitoista.

Mikäli on tarpeen, Gerður on tämän jälkeen vaihtanut maisemaa (ja tutustunut näin johonkin hahmoon).

- suhteet vanhempiin formaaleja ja ihmisiin verrattuna etäisiä, "yksi klaani yksi valtio" taotaan päähän lapsesta lähtien
- klaanin sisällä kullakin on tehtävänsä, myös sillä tyypillä (yleensä nainen) joka pitää huolta lapsista
Lawful Evil duergar-näkökulmasta: äärimmäistä utilitarismia tehokkuusnäkökulmasta (usein myös klaanin sekä henkilökohtaisen edun kasvattaminen huomioon otettuna)
Lawful Neutral duergar-näkökulmasta: kevyempää utilitarismia "moraali ja hyvyys", yksilön arvo jne huomioon ottaen.

Alkuun aloittaa ansanpurkajana, asioiden tietäjänä. Osaa myös erikoisia asioita (craftit) joista saattaa olla yllättävissä tilanteissa hyötyä.
Tavoitteena tuoda pikku hiljaa enemmän ja enemmän taistelun suhteen "blästimistä" mukaan. Eli warmage-tyyppisesti paljon lämää kerran rundissa, yhteen tai mahdollisesti myöhemmin useaan kohteeseen.

Tällä setupilla olisi suht tehokas ammuskelija, heikko ac (tosin adamantium-paita), suht hyvä löytämään ansoja ja varsin tietävä ja osaava tyyppi.
Kolmoslevelin dödö-hahmoon verrattuna heikko, ykkös-levelin dödö-hahmoon verrattuna voimakas.
