Hei Excalaiset!⚔️⭐️

Kiitos kuluneesta keväästä ja aktiivisesta osallistumisestanne Excan tapahtumiin. Lukukausi päätetään perinteisesti kaudenpäättäjäisiin, joka järjestetään tänä vuona Vallitun leirikeskuksessa Kangasalla 19.5.-21.5.2023 (Vallituntie 140, 36200 Kangasala https://maps.app.goo.gl/eSEgtaDB48qsQGQm8). Tarkempi aikataulu julkaistaan lähipäivinä. Liitteenä leirikeskuksen esite.

Leirikeskuksessa on:
– Saunomismahdollisuus
– Vesijärven ranta
– Yöpymismahdollisuus n. 40 hengelle
– Grillikota, laavu sekä pihagrilli
– Astioita ja sähköistetty keittiö
– Iso kylmätila
– Hyvät ulkoilumahdollisuudet sekä soutuvene (Oma pelastusliivi täytyy olla veneilyyn!)
– Päärakennuksessa kamiina

Koska tapahtuma kestää kolme päivää on seuraavia asioita leirikeskuksesta otettava huomioon.
– Leirikeskuksessa ei ole juoksevaa vettä. Kerho tuo vesitonkkia, mutta tuothan myös omaa vettä. Saunan yhteydessä peseytyminen järvivedellä.
– Sauna sijaitsee hieman kaukana päärakennuksesta mäen juurella. Saunassa on pukutilat, mutta ei suihkuja. Saunassa pesuvesi lämmitetään kiehuvaksi, joten ole varovainen saunoessa!
– Yöpymiseen on hyvä varautua lämpimillä vaatteilla sekä omalla tyynyllä ja makuupussilla. Yöpymiseen tarkoitettuja pieniä mökkejä ei ole lämmitetty ja ovat kylmiä yöllä. Patjoja pitäisi löytyä.
– Varaa tarpeeksi syötävää ja juotavaa mukaan, sillä lähin kauppa on kaukana. Leirikeskuksella on paljon jääkaappitilaa.

Muutamalla bussilinjalla pääsee vajaa 2 km päähän leirikeskuksesta. Voit myös kulkea kimppakyydillä, jota varten julkaistaan lähipäivinä Excel-taulukko.

Hello Exca people!⚔️⭐️

Thank you for the amazing spring we have had at Exca and for your active participating to Exca’s events. As usual, we end this academic year with our end of the season -event, which is going to be held this year at Vallittu summer camp in Kangasala 19.5.-21.5.2023 (Vallituntie 140, 36200 Kangasala https://maps.app.goo.gl/eSEgtaDB48qsQGQm8). A more detailed schedule for the camp is going to be published in the next few days. In the attachments Vallittu summer camp is presented in more detail (in Finnish).

The camp has following things listed:
– An outdoor sauna (no showers)
– The camp is located next to Vesijärvi lake
– Sleeping space for approximately 40 people
– A barbeque hut, grill and space for making a campfire
– Diches for cooking and eating as well as kitchen with electricity
– A large cold-storage room (refrigerator)
– Good outdoor activity areas and a boat (Boating requires your own life jacket!)
– A stove for heating in the main building

Because the event is a tree-day-long camp, you must take the following notes into account.
– There is no running water at the summer camp. The club is going to bring water canisters, but please bring your own water as well. Bathing in the sauna is done with water from the lake.
– The sauna is located a bit far from the main building and under a hill. There is a changing room in the sauna but no showers. Inside the sauna the bathing water is heated and is boiling. Please take caution when being in the sauna!
– Note that you need warm clothing for sleeping as well as your own pillow and sleeping bag. The sleeping spaces are in smaller cottages which are not heated and get cold during the night. There should be mattresses for sleeping.
– Get enough food to eat and beverages to drink for the whole camping period. The nearest store is far away. There is a lot of refrigerator space at the camp.

With a couple of bus lines, you can get less than 2 km away from the camp side. You can also go by a group car ride, for which we are going to share an Excel-sheet in the next few days.
