Reforging the Holy Roman Empire
As Prussia was aiming to form Germany, Austria was likewise eyeing possibilities to do the same. Thus if the possibility arises, Austria can reforge the Holy Roman Empire.
To reforge the Holy Roman Empire, Austria must
- be dominant and
- must have formed the Confederation of the Rhine.
If the above requirements are fulfilled, Austria can declare the reforging of the Holy Roman Empire, with the following effects:
- The provinces belonging to the Confederation of the Rhine become Austrian core provinces and their income is doubled.
- Each Confederation province that becomes a province of Austria provides Austria with an extra infantry corps.
If any Confederation provinces of the Holy Roman Empire are lost to another major country the income doubling is not counted and as a core province no manpower is available from the province.
