Owen Miller, 20+ vuotias biotekniikan opiskelija. Isä Trevor Miller (suht vanha, ~60v) omistaa pienen tilan maaseudulla. Isoveli jonka oli tarkoitus periä tila kuoli hiljattain, ja Owen on palannut kotiseudulle hautajaisiin. Paikalla myöskin setä Ethan Miller (isän vanhempi veli, toivottoman hahmo) sekä isoveli Hugh Miller (~30v?).

Opiskelee biotekniikkaa ja sivuaineena lääketiedettä lontoossa. Omaa jokseenkin transhumanistisen ideologian, mutta tekoälyn kehittämisen sijaan suosii ihmisälyn kehittämistä.

Luonteeltaan introversoitunut ja sosiaalisesti kömpelö. Välittää sekä läheisistään että ihmisistä yleensä, mutta viettää aikansa mieluiten yksin tai eläinten seurassa.
