One such mission involved blowing up a ring of hostile summoners. The mages were in the middle of a grand summoning when the they were suddenly blown up, sending the spell haywire. As side-effect of the magic gone wild, many of those witnessing the event were driven temporarily insane, turning the area into festival of destruction. Oscar was one of the few to escape the area unscathed - or so he thinks. Unknown to him the magical energies bound a Demon of Destruction into his psyche.
