 The thrusters of the arriving Storm Ravens became audible just as Lexicanium Vouldaren appeared from behind a blasted out bunker. He brought his bike to a halt and voxed something to the arriving aircraft before dismounting and walking over to the Apothecary to, presumably, get a list of the casualties and wounds sustained. Demitrion turned his head to see three yellow drops break from the clouds and descend towards them. He spoke a word to his vox and his squad cleared out to allow the dropships to land.
-The boarding did not take long and soon Demitrion stood on the ramp of the last Storm Raven, looking back at the destruction. He felt very little in the way of emotions to what had transpired here. It hadn't been a very huge scale operation, but it had to be fought nonetheless. The Primarch's legacy and the Imperium's rule had to be upheld and he would not be found wanting in answering that call of duty, no matter where it took him. He snapped out of his brief reverie as Lexicanium Vouldaren stepped aboard, the last of the taskforce to leave the surface of the planet.  The ruins still trailed curls of smoke all the way to the horizon. The last shots of the conflict had been fired mere moments before and the air was still heavily scented with blood, ichor and other human and xenos fluids. Even though he was wearing his helmet, he could still sense it. It was a smell of death and horror and destruction... but also of victory.
